University Students’ Representative, Vicente Mendonca Soares expresses his concerns over the mandate of the National Police Commander, Longuinhos Monteiro.
According to them, Commissioner Monteiro failed for providing optimal education on discipline the country’s police members as many times the police responded to situation with violent action against innocent people.
Soares said during the mandate of Commander Monteiro he failed to provide order of discipline to PNTL members.
“We see many of our PNTL members are yet to have discipline to implement law and order as some police officers can go to cock fight site, bars, ‘discotic’ and others where the always use the police attributes,” he said.
